Thought
I got an email from my sister the other day. It was an email that she had recieved from a lady who works at Barclays informing us (the family) that they had finished working on fixing up a run down ward at a hospital near the area my late Dad was raised. Barclays (my dad was on the Chairman of Barclays Zimbabwe) are giving my mum and the Zamchiya family an award and have also dedicated a ward ,that they fixed up in Chipinge in honour of my Dad's continous work in helping the people in the area with his time and donations. The ward is called The David Zamchiya Ward.
It makes me pretty damn proud that after four years after his death, one man's work, my dads work, is still being recognised for his input into the area and other areas. It makes me want to strive to be the extraodinary person he was. It then makes me think what do i want to be rememebered for when i die and what do i want to accomplish with my life?
